Jennifer grew up skating in Beaverton Ontario  often spending her summers skating at Durham Region Skating Academy. Jennifer moved to Bancroft in 2002 and began skating with the Bancroft skating club until she graduated high school in 2006. She then went on to become a Skate Canada certified figure skating coach training under national level coaches giving her the opportunity to sit in on lessons and learn their techniques. 

  Jennifer is a trained provincial level coach with 16 years experience and has coached many of our own Bancroft skaters through their gold level tests and successful competitions. 

Lisa Allore has been with the Bancroft figure skating club on and off for 30 years.  In the past 12 years she has paired up with Jennifer Knopp to create an awesome coaching duo.  Lisa’s personal skating achievements include 5 gold tests, she also completed her first pair test, her first competitive dance test and her pre-novice, novice and junior competitive free skate tests. She was runner up in Skate Canada Trials for interpretive, took home two Ontario gold titles in free skate throughout as well as two All Ontario interpretive wins in her career as an amateur.  Her professional career as a coach started in the club of Bancroft coaching all of the skaters you see in the showcases.  Lisa is National Level Certified and enjoys mentoring other coaches and skaters.
